Each of the above listed items consists of multiple PMComplete™ functions that allow you to add new records, change, replicate, delete and list existing records, chart, enquire and report on records, add an unlimited number of soft copy document attachments to records, classify records, monitor their status through their life cycle, sort the displays into a variety of sequences, print reports, drill-down on reports and e-mail these reports.

PMComplete™ allows you to manage your project accounting (budgets, forecasts and actuals).

People's timesheets, debtors invoices, creditors invoices and expense claims can be posted to project ledgers whose charts of accounts are completely definable by you.

PMComplete™ also allows you to manage your Project Payment Schedules.  You can define a series of progress payments (either milestone based or period based) and then PMComplete™ will remind you when these payments are about to fall due.

You can manage project profitability with PMComplete™, because it allows you to post revenues (debtors invoices) to your chart of accounts.

You can force standardisation of project charts of accounts.

You can document the basis upon which you developed the project budget, either for the whole budget or for components of the budget.  This allows you to record, for instance, that you have allowed for 5 person days of effort by a person with skill "X" and incurring a charge of $1,200 per person day.

You can freeze a project's cost baseline.  This then stops any changes being made to its budget amount, but leaves the ability to record actuals as well as revised forecasts.

As well as reporting project profitability, you can report on how well the project is monitoring against both budget as well as forecast.

Against each project account, for each period, you can record:

  • Budget
  • Forecast
  • Actual
for each of the following:
  • Quantity
  • Cost Value
  • Charge-Out Value
  • FX Value (and currency)

You can have PMComplete™ automatically generate debtors invoices (either real (for external Clients) or internal (for charge-backs)) from a variety of sources, including:

  • Timesheets
  • Training Attendances

You can print debtors invoices in a variety of formats.

You can also manage your project's benefits.  These can be either hard (tangible) or soft (intangible).

You can monitor which timesheets have been billed by contractors and subcontractors to ensure no double payment, by using the "Match Creditors Invoice to Timesheets" function.

There is also a small sub-module that allows you to record all of the personal accounts that you have (eg, bank accounts, utility accounts, etc).

Every aspect of project accounting is addressed by PMComplete™.  Most of the aspects are addressed by the PMComplete™ Accounts Manager, however, some are addressed by other PMComplete™ Sub-Systems, eg:

   o Agreements and Contracts Management for purchase orders

   o Timesheets Management for time reporting and costing

   o Travel and Accommodation Management for expense claims
